She was born on Saturday, June 9, 1917, in Warren, OH the daughter of George and
Agnes (Smith) Ashley.

Mrs. Evans attended Bellflower United Methodist Church in Bellflower CA and formerly worked at Packard Electric.

She was the wife of Harold Evans whom she married May 2, 1947, he preceded her in death in March, 1979. She is survived by a son Kert Jay Evans of Los Angeles CA, a daughter in law Jan Evans of Warren, OH and two grandchildren; Kristin Evans and Jenna Evans. Two sisters: Mildred Lenney of North Canton, OH, and Betty Byrom of Niles, OH and a brother; Robert Ashley of Warren, OH
