Leslie "Lee" Roby

Leslie "Lee" Roby, 60, passed away on Friday, December 31. He was born December 20, 1950, in Warren, Ohio, son of Calvin H and Irene (Bright) Roby.
He received his B.F.A. from Kent State University and M.S.Ed. from Youngstown State. Before retirement, he had been an art teacher at Mathews Local Schools. Lee had many passionate and varied interests, including art, music, golf, and fishing. He was also a member of Trumbull Art Gallery, where his paintings had been displayed in recent years. Lee possessed a unique way of seeing the world and valued a number of enduring friendships. He always felt blessed to have such good people and family in his life.
He is survived by his mother, wife, Ellen (Zasadney) whom he married August 20, 1977, son, Matthew Lee, brother Jeff and wife Rose. His father preceded him in death.
Calling Hours will be held from 3-5pm on Thursday at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with a short service at 5:00. Cremation and burial will take place at a later date at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
