Leo B. Drawl

Leo B. Drawl, 75, of Lordstown, died Monday, December 29, 2008 at Forum Health - Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren. He was born May 23, 1933 in Tide, Pa., a son of the late John and Katherine (Kopczak) Drawl, and had lived in Trumbull County for 55 years.

Mr. Drawl served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and was a member of Christ Our King Catholic Church in Warren. He had worked as a foreman in the conditioning department at Copperweld Steel Company. He had enjoyed bowling and gardening.

He is survived by his wife, Stella (Piotrowska) Drawl, whom he married December 12, 1955; four sons: Leo E. and Timothy D. of Lordstown, Anthony of Niles, and David A. (Mary) Drawl of Mineral Ridge; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his sisters, his brothers, and a son, John Pierre Drawl.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 2, 2009 at the chapel of All Souls Cemetery, 3823 Hoagland-Blackstub Rd., Cortland, Ohio 44410, with Fr. James Walker officiating. Military honors will be conferred. Interment at All Souls Cemetery will follow. Friends may call 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at McFarland & Son Funeral Home in Warren.
