Lena F. Bailes

Lena F. Bailes, 97, formerly of Warren, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She was born June 13, 1909 in Gad, W.Va., the daughter of Luther and Parthenia (Bryant) Bailes.

Lena was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Warren. She had worked as an inspector at Packard Electric for over thirty years, retiring in 1976.

Surviving are two daughters: Eva Virginia Mounts of Cuyahoga Falls, and Margaret Loreen Abrams of Cedar Falls, Iowa; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents; a son, Robert Bailes; a granddaughter, Patty Siskow; eleven brothers and sisters; and a niece, Edith Sampson.

Private services will be held. Interment will be at Pineview Memorial Park in Warren.
