Laurina T. Prevec

Laurina T. Prevec, 65, of Warren, died at home July 4, 2005 after a long and courageous battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). She was born December 31, 1939 in Warren, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Notarangelo Prince, and had lived in the Warren area her entire life.

Mrs. Prevec was a 1957 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, where she had been a Communion server and belonged to the Ladies Guild. She had been active with Big Brothers/Big Sisters and had served on the Warren Italian-American Heritage Festival Committee. She enjoyed her husband, her children, her granddaughter, and going to church.

She is survived by her husband, Frank T. Prevec, whom she married October 10, 1959; three children: Frank J. (Jannette) Prevec of Warren, Joseph W. Prevec of Clemmons, N.C., and Marla (Sam) Bluedorn of Warren; a granddaughter, Lauren Prevec of Warren; and a sister, Lena Ross of Warren.

Her parents preceded her in death.
