Laura "Sissy" Wells

WARREN - Laura "Sissy" J. Wells, age 55, passed away at Select Specialty Hospital in St. Joseph Health Center on March 1, 2014. She was born on May 20, 1958 and was the beloved daughter of John and Eleanor (Sprankle) Wells.

Laura was a graduate of Fairhaven School, and worked in their workshop. She enjoyed collecting dolls and loved animals of all kinds. She will be missed by her family.

Laura will be remembered by her mother, Eleanor Wells, with whom she lived; sisters, Deborah (John) Waggoner of Akron, Linda (Roger) Benninger of Georgetown, S.C.; brother, Jeff (Roberta) Wells of Champion; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, James Wells, who passed away in 1973.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 3 pm at McFarland & Son Funeral Home in Warren, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. G. Thomas Badanjek will be officiating.
