Kriston "Kris" Michael O'Donnell

Kriston “Kris” Michael O’Donnell of Stoneboro, PA, formerly of Hermitage, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, in Good Samaritan Hospice House in Wexford, PA. He was 51 years old.

Kris was born on July 19, 1973, in Sharon, PA, the son of Patrick Raymond and Debra Cione O’Donnell.

He was a 1991 graduate of Hickory High School and was employed as an Asset Protection Manager at Walmart for 15 years.

Kris enjoyed being outdoors, whether he was camping, taking his jet skis or boat out to the lake, riding around on one of his quads or utv’s or mowing his 18-acre horse farm. Kris loved to take evening walks with his wife and son around the horse pasture, watching their horses, who he called the "Village Idiots". Kris also spent time playing with r/c cars with his son, brother and his wife's uncle. Kris liked to be on his phone always solving a word puzzle and viewing funny videos made by his Walmart work family or researching his next purchase. 

Spending time with his family and his Walmart family was very important to him but his greatest love in life was being with his wife and his son. He married his wife, Crysta Marie Bonekovic on June 16, 2024, after 28 years together, and together they raised their teenage son Isaac whom his dad loved and was so very proud of everyday. Crysta and Isaac were his entire world. Kris loved to tell stories to others about both Crysta and Isaac along with his brother Darin who was also a big part of Kris' life. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Crysta Bonekovic O'Donnell; his son, Isaac Michael O’Donnell; parents, Patrick and Debra O’Donnell of Hermitage, PA; his brother, Darin Patrick O’Donnell; and a grandmother, Francis Depreta Cione of Farrell, PA.

Kris was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Raymond Patrick O’Donnell, and Richard Cione; grandmother, Rita McNeill O’Donnell; and 2 aunts, Donna Jean Cione Rodgers, and Karen Rita O’Donnell Brzuz.
