Korey De'Shaun Raimey, 24, 666 Commerce Ave., died at 2:15 pm Tuesday, April 3, 2012 in Killeen, Texas from a motorcycle accident. He was born May 22, 1987 in Warren, Ohio, the son of Thomas F. Raimey and Teresa Mills, and was raised and nurtured by his second mother, Lisa (Matlock) Raimey since he was 1 A½ years old.

Mr. Raimey worked as a D.J. in Killeen and was a member of New Vision Church Center in Warren. He was the first male cheerleader in forty years for Warren G. Harding High School, from where he graduated in 2005. He attended Central State University from 2005 to 2008, where he was an Iota Phi Theta frat brother and a cheerleader. From 2008 to 2011, he served in the U.S. Navy, from where he received an honorable discharge.

Known as "D.J. Knightro", he was in the professional dance group "Too Deep" and danced at the 2005 Super Bowl with the Black Eyed Peas.

Surviving are his mother, Lisa (Matlock) Raimey of Warren; his biological mother, Teresa Mills of Columbus; a son, Josiah Littlejohn of Harrisburg, Pa.; two sisters, Cyganna and Dominique Raimey, both of Warren; a brother, Thomas Mills of Columbus; two grandfathers, James Matlock of Warren and Larry Newell of Mississippi; three grandmothers: Robin Matlock, Maggie Caldwell Raimey, and Gladys Mills, all of Warren; a great grandmother, Geraldine Reed of Warren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death are his father, Thomas Raimey; his grandfather, Robert Raimey; and his grandmother, Carol Matlock Newell.

His life will be celebrated with a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2012 at New Vision Christian Church Center, 2219 Tod Ave. N.W., Warren, Ohio 44485, with Pastor Vaughn officiating. The repast will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the banquet hall at Freeway Lanes, 2700 Parkman Rd. N.W., Warren, Ohio 44485.
