Kenneth C. Gibson

Kenneth C. Gibson, 69, of Warren, Ohio passed away Sunday, December 19, 2010 at home right where he wanted to be. After suffering a stroke in 2006, life changed but brought many great joys.

Preceded in death by parents W. B. and Helen H. Gibson and sister, Shirley Bills, Ken is survived by his daughters, Tanya Gibson of Warren and Kara (Robert) Hall of Dublin, Ohio; grandchildren Zachary, Savannah, and Oliver Stychno, Ian, Austin, and Devon Hall; brothers Curtis, James and David. Also, Elaine Gibson Bowers and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A free spirit who loved flying and the outdoors, his love for a beautiful, peaceful lake in Canada brought him true joy with every visit and memory.

The Gibson family can never thank Christine enough for her care and compassion during the last days of Ken's life. It takes a special person to truly understand and care, and she did just that.

Services are private. Interment will take place at Hayes Cemetery in Andover. Material contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1815 W. Market St., Suite 108, Akron, Ohio 44313.
