Kay E. Smith

Kay Elizabeth Smith, 78, of Jefferson Run Road, Alma WV departed this life
Tuesday, December 22, 2015 in Danridge Burgandi Manor, Youngstown, Ohio. She was
born in Warren,Oh, July 28, 1937 the daughter of the late Lynn and Ruth Vanpelt
Hahn.
Kay was a retired employee of General Motors, Warren, OH with 35 years of
service. She was a member of the Eastern Star and a member of Fairview Church,
Wilbur, WV.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Walton E.
"Sonny" Smith, May 21, 2015, and also a brother, Wayne Hahn. Kay is survived by
two step daughters, Melissa Corbett (Theron) of Spark NV and Theresa Minnix
(Dale) of Issaquah, WA, a sister in law,June Hahn of Cortland, OH and two
nieces, Jill Boley (Gary) of Brookfield, OH and Joyce Wills ( Charles)of
Mohnton, PA. She also leaves several nieces and nephews and one great-great
niece and one great-great nephew.
Furbee Funeral Home Rt 18, Tyler WV was entrusted with the arrangements and
interment was in Wilbur Cemetery, Wilbur, WV.
