June 17, 1925 — February 21, 2009

June E. Hostetler, 83, of Leavittsburg, died Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Forum Health - Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born June 17, 1925 in Trumbull County, the daughter of James Lee and Leona (Goodhart) Long, and had lived in Trumbull County all her life.

A graduate of Newton Falls High School, Mrs. Hostetler had been a member of Second Christian Church in Warren and the Amvets Auxiliary. A devoted homemaker, she enjoyed raising her children, taking care of people, cooking, reading, birds, and cats.

Surviving are her children: Rodney J. (Sue) Hostetler of Fitzgerald, Ga., Martin J. Hostetler of Warren, Yolanda (Nelson) Burkhardt of Parma, Aleta (Thom) Crable of Girard, George C. Hostetler of Jacksonville, Fla., Della (Jeff) Lesnoski of Leavittsburg, and Randolph S. (Ramona) Hostetler of Anderson, Ind.; sixteen grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Arthur R. Hostetler, whom she married February 1, 1947 and who died November 25, 1989; a son, Daniel B. Hostetler; two sisters; and two brothers.

Services are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at the chapel of Oakwood Cemetery, 860 Niles Rd. S.E., Warren, Ohio 44483, with Rev. Caroline Bloomfield of Central Christian Church in Warren officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery will follow the service.
