Julie A. Sherwood

WARREN - Julie A. Sherwood, 87, passed peacefully away on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at White Oak Manor. She was born on March 5, 1927 in Harmony Junction, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Wojtanowski) Drabiska.

Julie was a graduate of Harmony Junction High School. She retired from the clerical staff at the Trumbull County Auditors Office. She enjoyed listening and dancing to music, even owned a dance studio in Warren in the 1960's. She loved spending time with her family especially her great-grandsons, whom she adored.

Memories of Julie will be carried on by daughter, Marian (Carmen) DeStefano of Warren; granddaughter, Julie (Jeff) Schreckengost of Warren; grandson, Robert Procopio of Warren; great-grandsons, Joshua Procopio, Justin Schreckengost, Jeffery Schreckengost, Jr., and Dustin Brooks.

She was preceded in death by her parents plus nine brothers and sisters.

Family will receive friends Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, Warren. A Memorial service will be at 12:00 noon with Pastor Ray Blasko officiating. Services of final committal will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery in Niles.
