Howland, Ohio - Judith R. Brem, 70, died peacefully Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at her daughter's in Tampa, FL., after a 12-year battle with cancer. She was born on January 13, 1942, in Warren, OH, the daughter of Lee B. and Dorothy (Dahringer) Yoxtheimer .
Judy retired in 2009 as the Director of Volunteers for Hospice of Trumbull County. She was a graduate of Ohio University and a member of First Baptist Church of Warren. While visiting Florida, she enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Quinn, and taking her to the zoo.
Loving memories will be carried on by her family, daughters, Kiersten Cox of Tampa, FL. and Kara (Fred) Cervelli of Madison, OH.; sons, John (Stacy) Cox, of Scottsboro, AL., Ben (Traci) Cox of Greenville, S.C., Neil (Beverly) Brem of Pittsburgh, PA.; brothers, Tim L. Yoxtheimer of Ellensburgh, WA. and John D. Yoxtheimer of Alexandria, VA. and 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Brem on February 16, 2005.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday with Dr. Walter Carvin officiating. Committal and interment will be at Crown Hill Burial Park, Vienna, OH.
