Joyce McLain

Joyce McLain of Warren passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 2:04 a.m. in Trumbull Regional Medical Center. She was 55.

Joyce was born in Warren on May 10, 1964, the daughter of Jerry A. and Gladys L. Henderson McLain.

She was a graduate of Howland High School. Following high school Joyce attended Indian River State College, where she graduated with her Associate Degree.

Mrs. McLain was employed as an x-ray technician for numerous doctors.

Joyce was a loving homemaker, wife and mother. She loved to have company over to the house and prepare delicious meal for them. Joyce enjoyed refinishing and repairing old furniture that needed some extra love and care. She was also known to enjoy the wind in her hair as she rode her motorcycle down the road.

She is survived by a daughter, Christy Conner of Sarasota, FL; a son, Dylan Conner of Warren; 3 sisters, Judy Kompanik, Kathy McLain, and Lois Patton-Boyer; 2 brothers, Jerry and David McLain. She is also survived by her mother, Gladys L. McLain.

In addition to her father, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Michael Conner, whom she married January 31, 1989 and passed away on February 29, 2019.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 28, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Niles First Church of the Nazarene 1822 Niles Vienna Rd., Niles Oh, 44446. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be made to the family or to a local charity in Joyce's name.
