Joseph Rocco Pandelli, 70, of Warren, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 20, 2020 at 6:15 pm after a very courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Rocky, as he was known to friends, was born in Warren on April 15, 1950, the son of the late Joseph and Lucy Pandelli.
He was a 1968 graduate from Warren Western Reserve High School. Rocky retired from the U.S. Post Office after working for many years as a postal carrier in Niles and later as a clerk in Warren.
Rocky was a Born-Again Christian. He was a man that loved God and never minced words. A man of few words but the impact was always profound.
Rocky was proud of his Italian Heritage and began learning the Italian Language with the help of his loving wife. He loved to research and study history. In his spare time, he could be found in his garden or cooking in the kitchen for his family. Most important he loved his family, especially his grandchildren who were the joy of his life. Rocky will be deeply missed by many family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Louisa Baragona Pandelli, who he married on July 23, 1971; his son Joey (Molly) Pandelli of Streetsboro; his sister Gina Mordecki of Liberty; his daughters-in-law Betheny and Irene; and 5 grandchildren, Annabella, Hailey, Jojo, Rocco, and Fiona.

John 14:1-6 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.” Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?” Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
At Rocky’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Wm Nicholas Funeral Home & Cremation Services 614 Warren Ave. Niles, OH 44446.
