Joseph Buckowski

Joseph Buckowski, 84, of Warren, died 1:05 AM Thursday, December 30, 2004 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital-Forum Health. He was born Friday, September 17, 1920, in Glendale, Pa., the son of the late Walter and Annie Kosinski Buczkowski.

Mr. Buckowski had worked for both Mullins Manufacturing and Alcan Aluminum. He had served in the Army during World War II and in the Navy during the Korean War. He enjoyed walking and history.

Surviving Mr. Buckowski are a daughter, Diane L. Vasbinder of Warren; two granddaughters: Rebecca L. and Rachel A. Vasbinder, both of Warren; and a great-granddaughter, Michaela L. Vasbinder of Warren.

Preceding Mr. Buckowski in death are his parents and his wife, Mary Kovacic Buckowski, whom he married October 24, 1953 and who died October 5, 1959.

Services for Mr. Buckowski will be 1:00 PM Friday, December 31, 2004 at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Champion. Interment at the cemetery will follow. There are no calling hours.
