Jorry Michael Palm, 28, of Akron and formerly of Niles, went to be with the Lord on June 9, 2012. Jorry was born March 7, 1984 in Corpus Christi, Texas and had lived in Trumbull County most of his life.

He was a 2002 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and a 2006 graduate from Kent State University, with a degree in computer software engineering. He worked as a software engineer for Lockheed-Martin in Akron and enjoyed spending time with his friends, playing on his dart team, golfing, fishing, traveling, music, and cooking.

He is sadly missed by his mother, Cheri Van Dyke (Daniel Warner); his father, Steve (Vicky) Palm; two sisters, Cassandra and Lindsey Palm; a brother, Jarod Palm; his maternal grandmother, Shirley Karr; and his paternal grandmother, Eileen Swesey. Preceding him in death are his paternal grandfather, Jack Swesey; and his maternal grandfather, Thomas Van Dyke

Jorry's life will be celebrated with a service at Church at Warren, 3179 Hoagland Blackstub Rd., Cortland, Ohio 44410 on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 1:00 PM. Interment has already taken place at Crown Hill Burial Park.
