John "Bubsie" G. Morgan

John Gorman “Bubsie” Morgan of Warren passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 4:25 p.m. in Arbors at Streetsboro. He was 90 years old.

John was born in Stickney, IL on December 2, 1929, the son of the late Steven B and Theresa Renee Morgan.

In 1951, John proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Morgan worked many years in asphalt and sealcoating throughout the local area.

John attended St. Mary’s Church in Warren. He loved music and dancing especially after a few drinks at family weddings. He and his long-time companion, Mona Jones, also enjoyed going to their camper where they would spend their entire summer enjoying nature.

He is survived by his son, Jesse Morgan, and his wife Christina of Honeybrook, PA; his grandchildren, Chelsea, Butch, Danny, and Cody; and his long-time companion, Mona Jones.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife Norma Lightfoot, who passed away in 1969, and a sister Maryanne Cirello.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Wm Nicholas Funeral Home & Cremation Services 614 Warren Ave. Niles, OH 44446.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 in the funeral home.

Interment will be at in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery where full military honors will be rendered.
