John Joe Zap

John Joe Zap of Youngstown, formerly of Niles, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 7:22 pm at St. Elizabeth in Boardman. He was 65.
John was born in Youngstown, OH on April 20, 1952, the son of the late John and Hellen Chuey Zap.
He was a graduate of Rayen High School.
John is survived by his companion of 23 years, Mary Prinkey; 2 stepsons, Michael Morris and Jason Morris; 2 stepdaughters, Christina Morris and Patricia Morris ; 2 brothers, Michael Zap of McDonald and Dennis Zap of Girard; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and his loving dog Rabbit.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a stepson, Steven Clay.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 21 at Waddell Park, 213 Sharkey Dr., Niles, Ohio 44446 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. with Pastor Charles Giliam speaking at 2:00 p.m.
