John T Tanner

Cortland, Ohio - John T. Tanner, 59, passed Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital- ValleyCare Health System of Ohio. He was born on April 12, 1957 in Warren, Ohio, the son of the late Charles and Grace Ritch Tanner.

John was self employed as a welder and enjoyed photography, artistic welding and woodworking. He graduated from Lakeview High School and Lincoln Welding School in Cleveland.

Memories of John will be carried on by wife, Diane Smith Tanner, daughter Marie Tanner, Cortland, sister Betsy Tanner of Howland, and brothers, Paul Tanner, Cortland, Brian Tanner, California and Robert Tanner, Cortland. He was preceded in death by his son, John Matthew Tanner and parents.
