John "Jack" P. Ronyak, 76, of Howland Twp., OH., died at his residence on Saturday, December 1, 2012. He was born in Warren, OH. on June 23, 1936, the son of Joseph and Mary (Kentes) Ronyak.
He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Navy on the USS Hornet and attended Warren City Schools.
Jack retired as a welder from American Welding after 41 years of service. He was a member of the VFW, enjoyed spending time with the grandchildren, playing cards, and shooting pool.
Surviving are daughters: Laura (Richard) L. Kolovich and Joanne P. Ronyak, both of Newton Falls, OH; sons: John (Suzanne) P. Ronyak, Jr. of Warren, OH and Anthony J. "Tony" Ronyak, of Howland Twp.,OH, with whom he resided, and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife Norma Lee (Tayon) Ronyak, who passed on September 23, 2002.
Jack's friends and family will gather on Thursday, December 6, 2012, from 4:00 till 6:00 p.m. at McFarland & Son Funeral Home. Full Military Honors will be presented at 6:00 p.m. The Family will have a graveside service to be held at All Souls Cemetery at a later date.
