John R. Jones of Warren passed away at 4:48 p.m. Tuesday, November 11, 2014 in the emergency room of Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was 76.
Mr. Jones was born October 9, 1938 in Waterloo, IA, a son of Stanley and Aida Stanley Jones.
John was self-employed in the scrap metal industry, where he purchased and resold scrap metal most of his life.
His wife, Delores Stevens Jones, whom he married December 14, 1966, passed away on April 21, 2004.
Surviving are: 4 children, Stanley Jones of York, PA, Mary Jones of Warren, OH, Susan George of Stafford, VA, and Anthony Jones and his wife Angela of Niles; 2 sisters, Stana Stanley and Delores Stevens; 2 brothers, Gene and Bill Jones; 5 grandchildren, Jazzmin, Tony, Gus, Chanel, and Chantelle.
In addition to his parents and wife, John was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Frank, Steve, George, Paul, and Bud Jones; a sister, Mary Stanley.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 12 Noon in the funeral home with Rev. Ron Mauch, pastoral care of Emmanuel Community Church, Canfield.
