John Kevin Holmstrom

John Kevin Holmstrom, 53, of Warren, died suddenly Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at home. He was born January 28, 1955 in Warren, the son of John Kenneth and Ella (Newhouse) Holmstrom, and lived in the Warren area all his life.

Kevin was a 1973 graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School and had been an Eagle Scout. A man with a big heart, he was a great carpenter, an avid gardener, and an animal lover who would do anything for his neighbors and friends.

Surviving are his mother, Ella Holmstrom of Warren; two sisters, Kim Holmstrom of Glen Allen., Va. and Karen (Peter) Burns of Philadelphia, Pa; and his favorite niece, Megan Burns of Columbus. His father precedes him in death.

Services will be private. Cremation is taking place. Material contributions may be made to the Greater Western Reserve Council, Boy Scouts of America, 4930 Enterprise Blvd. N.W., Warren, Ohio 44481.
