John J. Fabrizio
John J. Fabrizio, age 73, of Hall Ave. NW, Warren died Monday, May 3, 2004 in the Emergency Room at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was born the son of the late Bartolomeo and Pauline (Clauto) Fabrizio, June 15, 1930 in Warren.
Mr. Fabrizio was currently employed by Second National Bank as a courier and had formerly worked for ITT Grinnell and owned and operated Johnny's Market on Hall Ave. He was an avid member of the Warren Gridiron Club and formerly a member of the Harding Band Boosters.
He was a member of St. Mary's Church and a 1948 graduate of St. Mary's High School and a veteran of the US Air Force, and a fan of the Browns, Indians, Ohio State Buckeyes and Warren Harding High School football.
Mr. Fabrizio is survived by his wife the former Evelyn Tomasiak, whom he married February 11, 1956, three sons Joseph B. (Lyn), of Liberty, Lawrence M. (Chris), of Southington and Edward V. of Warren, daughter Marcia (David) Moehrman of Columbus, four grandchildren Ellen and Emily Fabrizio, Rachel and Audra Moehrman. He was preceded in death by son Michael, brother Anthony, and sisters Teresa Hatala and Mary Licavoli.
Mass for Mr. Fabrizio will be celebrated by Fr. Bernard Schmalzried, Friday, May 7, 2004, 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Church. Friends may call at the McFarland & Son Funeral Home, 271 N. Park Ave., Thursday from 5-8 PM. Concluding services will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery.
