John A. DeBon, (Jay) DeBon, III

CHAMPION - John (Jay) A. DeBon, III, 35, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2013 in an auto accident in Portage Co. Jay was born on October 28, 1977 in Akron, the son of John DeBon, Jr. and Donna Golubski.

Jay was employed as a chef at Crossing Cafe in Aurora. He enjoyed cooking, listening to music, watching scary movies and especially spending time with his family.

Memories of John will be carried on by his wife, Elizabeth (Williams) DeBon of Champion, whom he married December 29, 2003; son's, Joseph DeBon, 13, Jacob DeBon, 9, Jaden DeBon, 5, all of Champion; mother, Donna Golubski of Mantua; father, John (Donna) DeBon, Jr. of Wadsworth; brother, Michael (Cindy) DeBon and sister, Jeannine DeBon, both of Mantua.

Family will receive friends at the McFarland & Son Funeral Home, Warren on Wednesday, July 10, 2013, 5:00 PM till 7:00 PM and Thursday 10:00 AM till time of service. Funeral service will follow on Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. The service of final committal will follow at Braceville Township Cemetery.
