John "Jack" Conway

February 11, 1925 — February 9, 2014

WARREN - John "Jack" E. Conway, 88, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was born on February 11, 1925 in Youngstown, the son of the late Hugh and Jenny Harper Conway.

Jack was employed by the Warren City Schools as an Art Teacher for over 30 years. He taught art at 1st Street Elementary School and East Jr. High. He served his country in the Army during World War II.

Memories of John will be carried on by wife, Nancy Nydegger Conway of Warren, whom he married June 15, 1963; son, Glenn M. Conway of Warren; son, Bruce E. Conway of Warren; and grandchild, Kaitlin Conway of Newton Falls.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family will receive friends Thursday, February 13, 2014 from 3:00 to 4:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church, 256 Mahoning Ave NW, Warren. Memorial service will follow at 4:00 pm with Rev. Rusty Cowden officiating. Military honors will be presented by the Trumbull County American Legion Honor Guard. Final committal will be in the First Presbyterian Columbarium.

His family suggest contributions be made in the form of donations to Animal Welfare League, 545 Brunstetter Rd SW, Warren, OH 44481.
