Joanne M. Sekerak, 77, of Warren, died Saturday, May 01, 2010 at Forum Health - Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born December 3, 1932 in Warren, the daughter of Frances McDonald, and lived in Trumbull County all her life.

A January, 1951 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Mrs. Sekerak worked as a keypunch operator at Packard Electric. A member of Second Christian Church, she enjoyed crafts, bingo, pets, travel, her card club, and tending to her flower garden.

Surviving are her loving husband, John P. Sekerak, Sr., whom she married September 22, 1951; four children: John P. (Debra) Sekerak, Jr. of Howland, Kathleen F. Sekerak of Panama City, Fla., David L. (Barbara) Sekerak of Niles, and Lisa Marie Sekerak of Naples, Fla.; three granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her mother and two brothers, David McDonald and James Raftus.

Services are 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Gene Eason officiating. Friends may call 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Private burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery. Material contributions may be made to Second Christian Church, 904 W. Market St., Warren, Ohio 44481.
