JoAnn Robison, 68, of Liberty and formerly of Bristolville, died Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren. She was born January 5, 1944 in Cleveland, the daughter of Ralph and Ann (Abbott) Sharpe, and had lived in Trumbull County most of her life.

A graduate of Lakeview High School, Mrs. Robison served in the U.S. Army. An inspector for Trumbull Lamp and Ohio Lamp, she enjoyed bingo, lottery scratch-off tickets, cards, travel, watching the Gaithers on television, and most of all, her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are her mother, Ann Baldwin of Liberty; four sons: Kevin Miner of Liberty, Dwayne (Deborah) Miner of Cincinnati, Robert (Ashley) Miner and Brian (LaVette) Robison, both of Warren; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Ralph (JoAnn) of Niles and Robert (Shirley) Sharpe of Warren; and a stepsister, Linda (Keith) Bliss of Mecca. Preceding her in death are her father; her husband, Robert M. Robison, whom she married December 1, 1990 and who died January 19, 2008; a stepson, Robert "Robby" Robison; two grandchildren; two sisters, Roberta Gray and Virginia Rulong; and a brother, Richard Sharpe.

Services are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Mark Rasey of Leavittsburg Church of God officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Cortland. Friends may call 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
