Jerry W. Harvey

Jerry W. Harvey, 68, of Cortland, died 2:40 PM Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at Forum Health - Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.

He was born November 13, 1935 in Norton, West Virginia, the son of the late Woodrow and Isabelle Scott Harvey. Mr. Harvey worked for U.S. Steel in Youngstown 1953-1966 and as a millwright for Packard Electric 1966-1999. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, and the outdoors.

Surviving Mr. Harvey are his wife, Dianne Winters Harvey, whom he married September 11, 1972; five daughters: Lori Powell of Defiance, Ohio, Cheryl (David) Soles of Youngstown, Michelle (Paul) Kolessar of Hillside, Illinois, Latricia (Paul) Sullivan of Thornton, Colorado, and Janet (Don) Maloy of Ann Arbor, Michigan; a son, Edward (Roseann) Dugic of Navarre, Florida; a sister, Judy Styka of Youngstown; three brothers: Robert Neil Harvey of Youngstown, Edward Harvey of Lakewood, Ohio, and Joseph Harvey of Boardman; and ten grandchildren.

Preceding Mr. Harvey in death are his parents; a daughter, Jayne Harvey; a sister, Carol Jean Parry; and two brothers: David Harvey and Richard Harvey.

Services for Mr. Harvey will be 11:00 AM Saturday, May 8, 2004 at McFarland and Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481, with Rev. Jeffrey Wheeler of Bazetta Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 7:00 to 9:00 PM Friday and 10:00 to 11:00 AM Saturday.
