Jerome John Kip Cassidy

Jerome John Kip Cassidy, 45, of Niles, died 9:24 PM Friday, June 16, 2006 at Forum Health - Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 6, 1960 in Warren, the son of Jerome and Patricia Brodie Cassidy, and had lived in Trumbull County all his life.

Kip was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School and played lineman on the football team. He attended First United Methodist Church of Warren. He worked as a transporter at St. Joseph's Health Center in Warren. He was an avid football fan, especially of the Washington Redskins, and also enjoyed shooting pool. His greatest joy was his family.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Gayle McCleary Cassidy, whom he married March 6, 1992; a brother, Patrick (Linda) Cassidy of Niles; five sisters: Ellen (Dominic) LoFrano of Las Vegas, Nev., Beverly Barclay of Warren, Wendy (Ron) Hornyak of Hubbard, Sheila (Marion) Senk of Cortland, and Ardis (Greg) Fleck of Niles; a brother-in-law, Larry Miklas of Niles; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents; a sister, Pamela Miklas; and a brother-in-law, Curtis Barclay.

Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, June 19, 2006 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Yesudas Devadan of First United Methodist Church officiating. Friends may call 12:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sara R. Wean Oncology Center, c/o Trumbull Memorial Hospital, 1350 E. Market St., Warren, Ohio 44483.
