Jeremy L. Sponseller

Jeremy L. Sponseller, 28. formerly of Bristolville, died Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at his home in Stockport, Ohio. The Morgan County coroner is investigating the cause of death. He was born April 25, 1981 in Portsmouth, Va., the son of Ray and Joyce (Gibson) Sponseller.

Jeremy worked in construction and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.

Surviving are the two great loves of his life: his fiancee, Lita Webb, and his son, Trent Sponseller, both of Stockport; his parents, Ray and Joyce Sponseller, of Bristolville; a sister, Jennifer (Robert) Gabrielson of Bristolville; four brothers: Jason of Bristolville, Nathan of Michigan, Keith (Lucy) of Tucson, Ariz., and Jarrod Sponseller of Bristolville; a niece, Elah Sponseller; and four nephews: Robert, Jr., Bryce, and Bryan Gabrielson and Lucas Sponseller.

Services are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Rick Oaks of First United Methodist Church of Warren officiating. Interment will follow at Sager Cemetery in Bristolville. Friends may call 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday and 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
