Jeffane Warren

Jeffane "Jeff" Warren, 90 of Greenfield St. N.W., Warren, died 2:30 AM Thursday, August 5, 2004 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital-Forum Health in Warren. He was born Sunday, March 29, 1914 in Pineville, Kentucky, the son of the late Matthew and Lucy Fuson Warren.

Mr. Warren had been a resident of the area for over 50 years. He had retired as a steel worker from Republic Steel. He was a member of Beacon of Hope Baptist Church.

Surviving Mr. Warren are eleven children: Lucy (Allen) Hunt of Warren, Mattie (Robert) Brown of Salem, Hazel (Robert) Mullen of Leavittsburg, Martin (Donna) Warren of Champion, James Warren of Greenville, South Carolina, Merriane Wargo of Speedwell, Tennessee, Linda (Phillip) Grim of Warren, Naomi (Gary) Hennessey of Warren, Joe Warren of Greenville, South Carolina, Charlotte Murphy of Warren, and Eunice Warren of Travelers Rest, South Carolina; a brother, Paul Gibson of Pineville, Kentucky; 47 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Preceding Mr. Warren in death are his parents; his wife, Genevieve Hendrickson Warren, whom he married August 23, 1941 and who died April 26, 2000; three sons: Arlie, Tom, and Henry Warren; a daughter, Jewel Warren; two brothers; and one sister.

Services for Mr. Warren will be 11:00 AM Monday, August 9, 2004 at Beacon of Hope Baptist Church, 3559 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44483, with Rev. Bill Sprague officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Knoll Cemetery in Leavittsburg. Friends may call 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday at McFarland and Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481. Friends may also call 10:00 to 11:00 AM Monday at the church. A dinner will be held following the interment at Glenn Christian Foundation Church, 5540 Parkman Rd. N.W., Warren, Ohio 44481.
