Jean Myers

Jean E. (Peterson) Myers, 77, of Warren, died at 9:00 PM Friday, January 16, 2004 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.

She was born Monday, August 30, 1926, in Lockwood, Ohio, the daughter of the late Earl and Jane Lempke Peterson.

Mrs. Myers was a homemaker, a 1946 graduate of Leavittsburg High School, and a lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where she was a past president of the Altar Guild. She had been a poll worker for the Board of Elections for over forty years. She enjoyed bowling, golf, gardening, and most of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving Mrs. Myers are her husband, William B. Myers, whom she married February 23, 1947; three children: David (Debbie) Myers of Southington, Suzanne McCann of Eustis, Florida, and Barbara (John) Walker of Warren; two sisters: Donna Myers of Willoughby Hills, Ohio and Karen Johns of Eustis, Florida; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Preceding Mrs. Myers in death are her parents and two brothers.

Services for Mrs. Myers will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 20, 2004 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 2860 East Market Street, Warren, Ohio 44483, with Pastor Steve Ritter officiating. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna. Friends may call 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at McFarland and Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481. Material contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
