Jean C. Macciocca

Champion, Ohio - Jean C. Macciocca , 82, passed Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Windsor House of Champion. She was born on July 16, 1933 in Italy, the daughter of the late Harry and Joanna Serra Ritter.

Jean came to America from Italy when she was 17 years old and was proud to be an American Citizen. She loved to be active and played bingo, traveled to casinos, and enjoyed gardening, baking and cooking. She was of the Catholic faith.

Memories of Jean will be carried on by daughters, Ann Dawson of Warren, Joanna Phipps of Champion, son, Michael Macciocca of Niles, granddaughter, Marissa Macciocca, brother, Joe Ritter of Niles, OH, great-grandchildren, Alexis and Jaden

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Macciocca, whom she married July 12, 1952 and passed July 12, 1994, brother, Nattie Ritter, sisters, Helen Israel and Anna Marie Ritter, and grandson, Christopher Macciocca,

Family will receive friends Monday, February 8, 2016 from 5:00 pm til 7:00 pm and Tuesday noon till 1:00 pm at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, Warren. Services will be held at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, Tuesday at 1:00 pm. Services of final committal will follow at All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta Twp.
