Jason Dale Putt Sr.

Jason Dale Putt Sr. of Warren, passed away from complications of diabetes on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 8:45 p.m. in his residence. He was 40.

Mr. Putt was born in Ravenna on September 15, 1976, the son of Alan Lee and Crystal Lee Grabski Sommers.

He attended Ravenna School Systems. Following high school, Jason proudly worked towards and earned his certification as a mechanics technician from New Castle School of Trade.

Jason was previously employed as a tire salesman for Wholesale Tire.

He was of Christian faith and attended the Morgandale Church of the Nazarene. Jason had a passion for working on cars, especially Ford 4-wheel drive trucks. He enjoyed being outside in nature with a fishing pool in hand next to his favorite lake or stream. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Putt is survived by his wife Melinda Escue Putt, whom he married February 21, 2004; a son, Jason Paul; 4 daughters, Miranda Sophia, Zoe Olivia, Harley Rae, and Hannah Dawn; his mother, Crystal Lee Cales (Don Wagner) of Lorain, OH; his father, Warren Putt Sr. of Yuma, AZ; 4 sisters, Karen (Christopher) Harrison, Tabitha Brown, Sheryl (Randy) Griffith, and Angelica Hauck; 5 brothers, Fred (Amanda) Buell, Warren Putt Jr., Michael (Shauna) Lindstrom, Justin Lindstrom Sr., and Frank (Sabrina) Sommers; Jason is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his biological father, Jason was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; a niece Sabrina; a nephew Matthew.

A celebration of life service will take place on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at 123 8th St. SW Warren, OH 44485.
