Jason H. Moore

Jason H. Moore, Jr., 91, of Braceville, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at Laurie Ann Nursing Home in Newton Falls. He was born January 25, 1917 in Warren, the son of Jason H. and Alta (Brown) Moore, Sr., and had lived in Trumbull County his entire life.

Mr. Moore was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and The Ohio State University. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. As an accountant, he had worked for Denman Tire and PDJ. He had belonged to the Trumbull County Historical Society and had a keen interest in Civil War-era stories and collectibles.

Surviving are his wife, Betty (Bridge) Moore, whom he married May 8, 1943; three children: Patricia (George) Marsh of Girard, Constance (Art) Keyser of Braceville, and Jason H. (Brenda) Moore III of Newton Falls; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. His parents precede him in death.

Services will be private. His urn will be interred at Braceville Township Cemetery.
