Janet L. Dorsey

Janet L. Dorsey, 82, of Warren, passed away Jan. 26, 2016.
Janet was born on October 8, 1933 in Bergoo West Virginia to Bunnah and Lela Rose Hardway.
On December 15, 1952, she married William "Bill" Dorsey. Bill and Janet were married for 64 years. Bill was the love of her life.
Janet worked retail for many years at local pharmacies and grocery stores.
As an active member of the First Baptist Church of Warren, Janet was involved in the Winifred Daugherty Circle. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles.
Janet leaves to cherish her memories, her beloved husband , Bill Dorsey of Warren, her brother, Gordon (Ginger) Hardway of Mesquite NV, her sisters, Norma Patchin of Warren, Nancy (Harry) Packard of Leavittsburg, Fran (Larry) Rafiani of Cortland, Phyllis (Joe) Santinoceto of West Virginia, and her niece and caregiver, Patricia Scott of Warren. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Community Skilled Nursing Home staff for all of their excellent care and compassion.
A service to honor Janet's life will be Friday, January 29, 2016 at 5:00 PM at McFarland and Son Funeral Services, 271 North Park Ave, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
