Jane Torreance, 75, of Warren, died 11:55 PM Wednesday, March 15, 2006 surrounded by her loving family, at the home she shared with her granddaughter, Catherine Helmuth. She was born January 23, 1931 in Hunlocks Creek, Pa., the daughter of Archie and Arlene Thomas Wildoner, and had lived in Trumbull County since 1967.
Jane loved being outdoors, and her favorite activities included gardening, milking, canning, camping, and fishing.
She will be sadly missed by her children: William (Brenda) Torreance of Austintown, John (Eva) Torreance of Champion, Betty (Robert) Maiden of Warren, Glen (Terry) Torreance of Akron, Ernest Torreance, Helen (Harley) Champlin of Niles, Susan (David) Helmuth of Farmdale, Missouri Daghara of Niles, and Julius Torreance of Farmdale; 36 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; five brothers: William and John Wildoner of Pennsylvania, Rolland Wildoner of Charlotte's Hall, Md., Harry Wildoner of New York, and Archie Wildoner, Jr. of Harrysville, Pa.; and three sisters: Dolores Price of Hunlocks Creek, Pa., Leatha Griswold of Massillon, and Nancy Wildoner of Bloomingdale, Pa. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, William Albert Torreance, whom she married May 8, 1948 and who died April 23, 1993; her twin sister, Janet Armstrong; and two granddaughters, Holly and Christine.
The family would like to say a special thanks to the wonderful staff of Forum Health at Home - Hospice for their care and support during Jane's illness.
