Jane V. Dilley

December 20, 1914 — September 26, 2007

Jane Van Reenen Dilley, 92, of Warren, passed away September 26, 2007 at Imperial Skilled Care Center. She was born December 20, 1914 in Marlinton, West Virginia.

She attended Marshall University and graduated from Youngstown State University. She was a retired teacher, having taught many years in West Virginia and at Willard Elementary in Warren. She was an active member of Tod Avenue United Methodist Church until she became ill, and was a member of the State Retired Teachers Association, Ohio Education Association, National Education Association, and Delta Kappa Gamma Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Dilley; their son John; her parents, William and Naomi (McCoy) Van Reenen; and ten sisters and brothers. Survivors include her sister, Myrtle Van Reenen Frampton of Tulsa, Okla.; her brother-in-law, Robert Dilley of Warren; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 29, 2007 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Anita Rayburn officiating. Entombment will be private at Crown Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, family requests that material contributions be made to Southern Care Hospice, 5401 Ashley Circle, Suite E, Austintown, Ohio 44515.
