Warren, Ohio - James "Pete" Snell, 61, died Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at his residence of heart ailment. He was born on June 13, 1954 in Chardon, Ohio, the son of James A. and Leona (Stowe) Snell.
Pete was a well know musician in the area and owned and operated his own recording studio. He enjoyed playing Blues, Classic Rock, and Country music. He was also a plant manager for Scott Industry.
He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era.
Pete was a loving father and grandfather to his daughter Jennifer Snell and grandchildren Brooklynn and Xander. Memories of Pete will also be carried on by his father, James A. Snell of Warren, OH, sister, Mary (James) Sable of Champion, OH, brother, Russell D. Snell of Warren, OH, brother, Robert W. (Kim) Snell of Leavittsburg, OH
He was preceded in death by his mother, Leona B. Snell, and sister, Debbie Boyle,
A musical celebration of Pete's life will be scheduled by his family spring/summer of 2016.
