James Palm

James P. Palm, 40, of Warren, died Thursday, December 25, 2003 in Warren.

He was born April 5, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Lyle Palm and Eileen O'Marrah Palm.

Mr. Palm was a graduate of Mathews High School and the Trumbull County Joint Vocational School. He worked as a detailer and a parts runner for Sims Buick. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a big NASCAR fan - especially Dale Jarrett - and liked to tear cars apart and put them back together.

Surviving Mr. Palm are a son, Phillip Palm of Georgia; his mother and stepfather, Eileen and John Swesey of Warren; six brothers: Wayne Palm of Warren, Steve Palm of Bazetta, John Swesey of Poplar Bluff, MO, Greg Swesey of Toledo, Darryl Swesey of Cortland, and Kenneth Swesey of Williamsville, MO; three sisters: Eileen Mealy of Irondale, Ohio, Marion Palm of Girard, and Pamela Sue Vaughn of Warren; and 31 nieces and nephews.

His father preceded him in death.

Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, December 29, 2003 at McFarland and Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481. Services and interment for Mr. Palm will be 10:30 AM Tuesday at Fowler Township Cemetery.
