James W. "Jim" Masluk

James W. Masluk, 72, of Champion, passed away on June 14, 2011 at his residence in Champion Twp. OH. He was born on July 25, 1938 to Walter J. and Emma (Repasky) Masluk inYoungstown, OH.

Jim worked as a Union Representative for IUE-CWA LOCAL 717 at Packard Electric Division of GM, He enjoyed sports and his trips to Mountaineer West VA. He especially loved his companion dog Penny.

Mr. Masluk is survived by his loving spouse the former Shirley Hughes whom he married in 1984, four daughters Kimberly (Bob) Lewis of Hubbard, Rita (Tim) Dulya of Point St. Lucy, FL, Michelle Wesley of NC, Tracy Evans of Champion; two sons James W. (Shelly) Masluk Jr. of Hubbard, and Henry E Himes III of Champion; a sister Emily "Boo Boo" Mansfield of Boardman, OH. He was preceded in death by sister, Rosemary "Sis" DeMarggio, and brother, Walter J. "Hutch" Masluk Jr.

Services for Jim will be held at the McFarland & Son Funeral Home, June 21, 2011 at 11:00 am with the Rev. Fr. Charles Crumbly officiating. Friends and family may call Monday, 6- 8:pm. & Tuesday, 10- 11 am. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Champion Township Cemetery.
