James "Jim" Klingeman

September 8, 1937 — March 31, 2014

BRISTOLVILLE - James "Jim" A. Klingeman, 76, passed away Monday, March 31, 2014 at his residence after a long illness. He was born on September 8, 1937 in Warren, the son of the late Arthur and Margaret (VanWye) Klingeman.

James was a graduate of Champion High School. He served his country proudly in the National Guard Reserves. He was a 57 year member of IBEW Local 573 as an electrician and served on the Executive Board. He was affiliated with Champion Christian Church. He was an avid fan of car racing. He was a very accomplished two-cycle engine builder for snowmobile racing. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Memories of James will be carried on by his wife of 55 years, Carol (Guesman) Klingeman of Bristolville; daughter, Jamie (Jim) Sudimack of Cortland; son, Patrick (Nicole) Klingeman of Bristolville; granddaughter, Karlie Klingeman; grandson, Kale Klingeman; sister, Janet (Bill) Carr of Millsboro, DE; and brother-in-law, Wayne Guesman of Dunedin, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

According to his wishes, there will be no services and cremation has taken place.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Southern Care Hospice for all their wonderful care and support.

His family suggests contributions be made in the form of donations to Champion Christian Church, 151 Center St. West, Warren, OH 44481 or Bristol Fire Department, P.O. Box 262, Bristolville, OH 44402.
