James Greenaway

James R Greenaway, 80 of Heron Circle, Cortland, OH passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
Jim was born on Monday, July 28, 1924, in Blairsville, PA son of the late James Lee and Olive (Long) Greenaway.

Jim and his first wife, the former Betty Ernst were married May 9, 1953. She preceded him in death in 1998. Jim married his second wife, Dorothy Hammond in December 2000.

Jim graduated from Warren G. Harding High School and attended Youngstown College for 2 years. He retired from Copperweld Steel in 1983.
Besides his wife, Dorothy (Hammond) Greenaway, he is survived by two sisters; Mrs. Naomi Burkholder and Barbara Cline both of Warren, OH. Besides his parents and first wife he was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

He was a member of The Christian Congregation Of Jehovah's Witness,3043 Bradley-Brownlee Rd., N.E., Cortland, Ohio where a memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 5, 2005. Material Contributions may be given to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Youngstown, OH 44512. Burial has taken place at Crown Hill Burial Park, in Vienna, OH. Services performed under the direction of MCFARLAND AND SON FUNERAL HOME
