James E. Fullmer, 88 , a long time area resident, died at 10:33 PM, on Thursday, January 29, 2004 at Ridgecrest Care Center in Warren, OH. He was born on Thursday, November 4, 1915, in Morgantown, WV, the son of the late Edmond S. and Isabel (McKinney) Fullmer.
James attended West Virginia University. He was an Independent Insurance Agent and former owner and operator of Fullmer Insurance Agency before retiring in 1995 from the Insurance Center of Warren.
James was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church of Warren, a state board member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Ohio, past president of the Warren Exchange Club, he was also a member of the Warren Chamber of Commerce.
James is survived by his wife Constance M. (Sennes) Fullmer whom he married on January 29, 1940, two daughters, Rachel (Thomas) Wade of Warren, OH and Deborah F. Thomas of Barrington, RI, one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Goffaux of Charleston, W VA, a brother, Charles R. Fullmer of Lady Lake, FL. 4 grandchildren and 1 Great grandchild. A sister, Eunice Sanders preceded him in death.
Visitation will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 232 Seneca NE, Warren, OH on Tuesday, February 3, 2004 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with the funeral service following at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery. Father Bernard Schmalzried will officiate.
