GIRARD - James "Red" P. Elmond, Sr., 90, died Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Liberty Health Care. He was born on October 4, 1923 in Simpson, West Virginia, the son of the late George and Maybelle Elmond.
James "Red" was employed by Warren Steel Specialties Corporation.
Memories of James "Red" will be carried on by daughter, Tarena (Bobby) Putnam of Warren, Renne Taylor of Girard, 22 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father; George Elmond, mother; Maybelle Elmond, brothers; Frank Elmond, Robert Elmond, and Ralph Elmond, a grandchild; Joshua Houser, grandchild; Shawnseen Putnam, and his wife; Delores Slander Elmond,
