James Bousfield

Champion, Ohio - James E Bousfield, 79, died Monday, January 9, 2017. He was born on June 1, 1937 in Bar Harbor, Maine, the son of the late Rev. Neal and Elizabeth Beckett Bousfield.

James was employed by Packard Electric and then Delphi as a Senior Engineer. He was a graduate of University of Maine where he earned his B.S. in civil engineering. He was a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio and Past President Trumbull County Professional Engineers.

He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church where he served on the Vestry and ushered for many years. He was the Past President of Champion Optimist Club; Jim was a former member Ohio National Guard (Staff Sgt) and volunteered with the Boy Scouts for many years.

Memories of James will be carried on by wife, Eula Jane Bousfield of Champion whom he married February 4, 1961, son, William H. (Carolyn) Bousfield of Akron, OH, daughter, Elizabeth J. (Jon) Droscha of Mason, MI, grandchildren, Lillian and Julia Droscha and Richard Bousfield and sister, Martha J. (John) DeTurris of New York City.

Inurnment will be at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Woolwich, Maine at a later date.
