James R. Anderson

GIRARD - James R. Anderson, 85, died Saturday, January 17, 2015 at St. Joseph's Health Center in Warren. He was born on November 7, 1929 in Warren, the son of the late William and Virginia (Hardman) Anderson.

James attended Hiram College. He was employed by State of Ohio as a Engineer. He was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church, Warren and Warren Lions Club. He served his country in the US Army.

Memories of James will be carried on by son, William J. Anderson of Warren; daughter, Diane (Dominic) Colangelo of MD; son, Robert (Laura) Anderson of Ft. Myers, FL; son, James "JR" R. Anderson, Jr. of Akron; brother, Robert (Joyce) Anderson of Warren; 9 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, George Anderson; and sister, Margaret Langenbucher-Wood.

A private memorial service was held at the McFarland & Son Funeral Home, on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at 6:30 pm with the Rev. J. Jeffery Baker officiating. Services of final committal will be held at later date at Pineview Memorial Park.
