Jack L Brizzi

Jack L. Brizzi, Sr., Warren, Ohio, died November 19, 2016. He was born November 6, 1937 in Charleroi, Pa. the son of Elio and Frances Lynn Brizzi. Mr. Brizzi earned his BS in Education from Ohio University and a Master's Degree in Education from Kent State University.

He served with the Fine Arts Council from inception until 1987 as well as serving on the Board of Directors of the Ballet Theater of Ohio. In January 1993 he retired as Professor of Theater from Kent State University, Trumbull Campus after 27 years.

Mr. Brizzi was a resident of Warren since 1965 coming from Ravenna, OH. He was a member of First Unitarian Universalist Church of Youngstown and served in the Air Force from 1959 until 1961.

Survivors include his brother, James Brizzi, North Truro, Mass. and half sister Carol Lehman of Newell Pa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elio and Frances Brizzi as well as his son Jack L. Brizzi, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2017 at The First Unitarian Universalist Church of Youngstown, 1105 Elm St., Youngstown, OH, 44505, with Rev. Matthew Alspaugh officiating.
