Irene Elizabeth Tice Davis
December 29, 1938 — August 20, 2017
Irene Elizabeth Tice Davis, “Bette”, of Warren, formerly of Niles, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 5:35 p.m. in the Hospice House, Poland. She was 78.
Irene was born in Toronto, Oh on December 29, 1938, the daughter of the late Charles E. and Mary F. Barr Tice.
She worked throughout the years doing a variety of jobs but also enjoyed being a homemaker
Irene loved watching her Dallas Cowboys games and listening to Elvis and several of her other favorite musicians. She also enjoyed watching her NASCAR favorite Jeff Gordan. She loved crossword puzzles, watching her soaps and her Golden Girls. She loved her grandchildren and children more than life and often spent time with her family and her dog Baxter and grand-dogs Charlie and Bella.
She is survived by a daughter, Heather Davis Tomlin and her fiancé Chad Reynolds of Warren, Ohio; 3 grandchildren, Courtney Davis of Cleveland, Donald Paul Jacob Davis of Niles, and Izabella Davis of Niles; 2 sisters, Emily (Jim) Elbon of Niles and Janet Yaist of Niles; and a brother William (Donna) Taylor of Austintown. Also her special “Granddaughter” Paislee, 2 step grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild all in North Carolina, and many other family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Irene, “Bette”, was preceded in death by her husband, James Davis; the father of her children, Donald Paul Holt; a step father, William Taylor; a son, Donald Paul Davis; granddaughter Marissa Elizabeth Nicole Martin; siblings, Mary Katherine Durbin, Charles Emmory Tice, Debra Taylor, Nancy Lee Tice and Vonnie Leeroy Taylor; Neice, Diana Durbin Lacivita; and many in laws.

A funeral service will take placed on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Minister Bruce Beal.
Internment will take place in St. Stephen Cemetery.
